Improper operation of the cone crusher during use may cause the cone crusher to block material. Below, Great Wall Heavy Industry will share the reasons and solutions for common cone crusher blocking materials.
There are two main reasons for improper feeding. The first one is too much feeding, which causes the cone crusher to block the material. The second is that the material properties are not suitable for cone crusher crushing.
Solution: Follow the instructions of the cone crusher, do not overload, and do not break the material that is not suitable for the cone crusher.
If the material in the crushing chamber of the cone crusher cannot be discharged in time, the cone crusher will block the material. In the first case, the discharge port parameters are not changed according to the nature of the feed, so that the crushed material cannot be retained in the crushing chamber through the discharge port, causing the cone crusher to block the material. In the second case, the size of the non-crushed material mixed in the material is too large, and exceeds the discharge port parameter and cannot be discharged.
Solution: The parameters of the inlet and discharge ports should be adjusted in time according to the material changes. The non-crushed material mixed in the material should not be too much, the size is too large, and if necessary, it should be sieved in advance.
If the cone crusher motor fails, it will stop when the cone crusher is broken, and it will not provide power for the crushing of the equipment, causing the cone crusher to block the material.
Solution: Everyday equipment inspection and maintenance should be done well, and the condition of the equipment should be checked before each shift. There are problems in time for repair and disposal.
The crushing wall and the rolling wall of the cone crusher are the main wearing parts of the cone crusher. If the two parts are seriously worn, the material will be broken unevenly or forcefully broken, causing the material to be too large to pass through the discharge opening, thus causing the cone crusher to block the material.
Solution: Everyday equipment inspection and maintenance should be done well, and the condition of the equipment should be checked before each shift. Replace damaged parts in time.
If there is any debris in the crushing chamber of the cone crusher and it is not cleaned in time, the material put into the crushing chamber will not be effectively broken due to insufficient space. At the same time, the presence of debris will also affect the circulation of the material causing the cone crusher to block the material.
